After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. Anyhow as for beginner alts, Recommended : Sorc, zerk, artillerist, shadow hunter. Dont's : wardancer, gunlancer, soulfist, sharpshooter (situational), and supports (bard/pally) The ones I mentioned for "don't" are classes that either suck at lower tiers (soulfist/wardancer) or are a chore/pain to do dailies in ....
